Much of what we sing is unaccompanied, but we also work with pianists, organists and orchestras from time to time. In 2001 we joined Southend Festival Chorus and Orchestra as the semi-chorus in a performance of Elgar's The Dream of Gerontius in Ypres Cathedral, Belgium; and in July 2004 and February 2005 we joined forces with the Stondon Singers, a similar choir based in Blackmore, to perform Thomas Tallis's epic 40-part motet Spem in Alium in a programme which also included works by Gabrieli, Taverner and Bach.
